Shaq was moved to the Miami Heat after having disputes with the Lakers’ management, and he guided the franchise to its fourth NBA title in 2006. In the 2006-2007 NBA year, he reached the 25,000-point milestone.

He also spent time with the Boston Celtics, the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Phoenix Suns. Shaq, after a long and fruitful NBA career, announced his retirement in June 2011.

Retirement

Former NBA great Shaq was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2016. But he didn’t totally disappear from basketball.
