‘Toradora Season 2’ Release Date, Plot, Cast and More

It’s hard to argue that Toradora isn’t the best anime in the romance genre; it’s based on a light novel. That it has both an excellent story and a hilarious comedic element ensures that the audience will be giggling nonstop throughout.

Despite the fact that the first season has been out for a decade, there has been no word from the author or the studio J.C.Staff (How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom), on whether there would be a continuation or not. As far as I know, there’s no plans to bring back Toradora for Season 2.

Is There a Toradora Season 2?

Over 1.8 million MyAnimeList members have signed up for the first season of Toradora, which is now ranked at 8.16. It’s clear from this that many fans who voted Toradora as their favourite want to see more of the character in action. Do you think the show’s fans will be happy with a second season?

Unfortunately, the second season of Toradora seems improbable. A second season is unnecessary because the first season wrapped up the plot perfectly. However, there are still a few tidbits of knowledge that are sure to gratify the vast majority of the game’s followers.

An OVA is a reality! Those of you hoping to learn more about Ryuji and Taiga’s relationship after the first season will be pleased to learn that an OVA, rather than a second season, is likely.

As a follow-up to the first season, the OVA will provide further insight into the characters’ developing connection. Remember that this is only speculation, so there is no assurance that an OVA will be made, but all we can do is hope that they will.

Secondly, Toradora has a PSP game! If you’re eager and don’t want to wait for the OVA to see it, don’t fret: a game based on the light novel published by Namco Bandai a decade ago has already been made available.

More is revealed in the game’s conclusion than in the anime’s. Kitamura and Taiga’s genuine endings will be revealed in the game’s additional storyline.

They’ll get married, buy Ry’uji’s building, and turn the ground floor of it into a restaurant that they’ll operate themselves. Instead of calling the restaurant after something else, Ryuuji chose to call it “The Palmtop Tiger” in honour of his wife.

Banana Fish’s voice actress, Rie Kugimiya, also plays the role of Taiga Aisaka. Toradora’s female lead, Ryuuji, was formerly a classmate of hers. Palmtop Tiger” is her nickname since she can be a bit of a jerk, but she’s also incredibly lovely and stunning.

The male protagonist of the series is Ryuuji Takasu (Cast: Junji Majima, previously voiced ‘The Assassination Classroom’). He has a lifeless expression on his face, yet he’s warm and kind on the inside.

Ryuuji’s first and only crush on Taiga’s best friend, Minori Kushieda (also voiced by Yui Horie in ‘Bakemonogatari). She is upbeat and energetic, but she can also be a bit of an airhead from time to time. Besides being sporty, she’s also very busy with a number of part-time jobs.

‘Blue Exorcist’ character Ami Kawashima (Cast: Eri Kitamura, voiced by Kitamura) is a childhood friend of Kitamura’s. Because she is a model, she has a lovely face and a trim physique. In front of others, she constantly put on a show and concealed her genuine personality.

‘Hunter x Hunter’ voice actor Hirofumi Nojima plays Yuusaku Kitamura, Ryuuji’s best friend and the first love interest of Taiga. He’s exceptionally well-educated and well-behaved.
