Season two of Amazon’s Prime Video Invincible was requested by fans on social media before the first season ever aired. “It’s all about dedication.”
Thankfully, Amazon’s Prime Video heard, and the show was renewed for a second and third seasons in April 2021 after much effort, petitions, and hashtags from fans.
Robert Kirkman, the show’s creator, had previously hinted at the prospect of additional episodes, but they would be difficult to pull off.
“The production schedule is a little frightening,” the Walking Dead writer stated in an interview with Collider on the show’s conception. This season took a long time to build and perfect, in my opinion. Ideally, as we move into season two and beyond, things will start to tighten up.
Our second season will require a lot less design work and a lot more variety in our offerings. And it’s not out of the question that work on the upcoming second season has already started. If this concert is a success, I feel we’ll be in a fantastic position to move forward,” he said.
As a result, what can we look forward to in Invincible’s second season?

How Long Until Invincible Season 2 Is Available?
Many fans are eager to find out when the second season of Invincible will be available on Amazon Prime. In April 2022, neither the streaming service nor the creative team could say when the next set of episodes will be released, which is a bummer.
When asked about the production timeframe for Season 2, the show’s creator, Robert Kirkman, said, “The production timeframe is fairly frightening.” This season took a long time to build and perfect, in my opinion. In season two and beyond, “things should get much tighter.”
The critically acclaimed writer said, “There’s obviously a lot less designing and different things that have to happen to go into our second season.” And it’s entirely probable that the second season’s preparations have already begun,” he continues.
To conclude, Kirkman said, “I think we’re in a terrific position to be moving ahead” if the show is a hit. As a result, Invincible will return, even though it is still under production. As a bonus, Amazon has already committed to a third season, which is fantastic.
What Will Happen In Invincible Season 2?
As a result of the shocking conclusion, the world of Mark has been forever altered. It’s all because of his father, Omni-Man, who’s devastated their family (along with half of Chicago).
While he’s away, Nolan will return with the entire Viltrumite race’s troops, keen on conquering Earth as part of their extraterrestrial rule.
Although Mark is reluctant at first, Cecil persuades him to accept the role of Earth’s champion in the show’s conclusion. In the meanwhile, he plans to finish high school, but this may be tough given the imminent threats.
In addition to the Viltrumite invasion, a lot of Invincible’s previous enemies will be returning. While Mars is overrun by pink aliens and a white tiger remains, Titan gains new allies in season one.
As Cecil puts his life on the line, he enlists the services of that mad scientist to build even more cyborgs, apparently to block Nolan from returning when he is ready.
In the future, Mark and Amber’s relationship appears to be strong again, although it’s hard to tell how long this will endure. William and Rick’s relationship didn’t exactly go as planned in season one, so here’s hoping they can mend their fences soon.
He said, “I wanted to show the viewer that everything and everything that happened in season one is important,” in an interview with AV Club, “I really wanted to remind the viewer of the numerous strands we have.”
“Even the tiniest details will have a major impact on the future.” But it was getting out of hand, so I had to stop adding so many pops.
As a result, it gives the idea that Nolan is no longer an option, and Mark is left to face the challenges alone. I expect to see a new and more independent Invincible in the future.
Season two and beyond will have a fresh plot, which is precisely what you want from a show like this. What’s important is that each season has its own unique character, and that this character can be explored in depth.”
Just make sure you don’t rely too heavily on the comics for guidance. Kirkman hopes to astound even more of those die-hards.
Unexpected events occur frequently in this comic, and this is one of the factors that makes it so appealing to me.” I want to do everything I can to preserve the comic’s style for those who have read it and are now watching the show..
After reading the comics, even if you’ve seen them before, it’s easy to have the sensation that something has been changed and rearranged because you didn’t expect it. It gives the show a dose of the comic book’s dynamism.”
Season 2 of Invincible Season 2 has been hinted by Kirkman, and there is one area in which the TV could stray drastically from the comics (via Screenrant).
“I’ll say that we’ve teased Angstrom Levy’s arrival in season two, so that’s something to look forward to. There’s a lot of stuff that comes from that character, and I guess you could get a feel of how we’re going to adapt those things and how they’ll build up season two by watching season one.”
This means that you can perform your own tests in an attempt to deduce how Season 2 will play out on your own… In the end, you’re going to regret it!
Kirkman has the option of going back to Levy’s roots, which could be an interesting twist. As a secondary enemy, Levy is completely unknown to the general public.
In contrast to Spider-Man, where the development of a character’s powers is an important component of their evolution, Invincible fans have never been told how this important antagonist obtained his main powers (which include dimensional travel, super strength, enhanced durability, and a genius-level intellect).
There’s no doubt about it that he hated Invincible. In Levy’s opinion, Grayson is to blame for an explosion that permanently changed him. Levy finds Invincible’s true identity by visiting various alternate universes where the superhero’s identity is well-known.
There is no doubt that Levy’s abilities will allow the programme to explore a comic-book theme that is currently very popular in the big franchises, whether it is Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness (2022), The Flash (2022), or Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse – Part One (2022).
A crossover between Spider-Man and Invincible could happen in 2022, if Invincible season two premieres then. Levy’s dimension-hopping skills are so powerful that they result in this crossover.
Amazon’s show is unlikely to open portals to other planets, but it doesn’t mean the show’s writers won’t have a lot of material to work with.
