Zoe Kravitz and Jimmy Fallon played a game of “Can You Feel It?” in which they had to guess objects that they couldn’t see based on their sense of touch.

Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was born to Catherine Eugenia Finnegan Biden and Joseph Robinette Biden, Sr. in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He was their first of four children. The Bidens settled in Claymont, Delaware, in 1953.

Vice President Biden attended Syracuse University’s College of Law and the University of Delaware, and he also sat on the New Castle County Council.

Mr. And Mrs. Joe Biden

Vice President Biden, at the age of 29, was a historic first for the United States Senate. It was only a matter of weeks after Joe Biden was elected to the Senate before tragedy struck when his wife Neilia and daughter Naomi were murdered in a car accident, leaving his sons Hunter and Beau in serious condition.

While his two kids were in the hospital, Joe Biden took his oath of office for the United States Senate and began making the daily trip from Wilmington to Washington, D.C., by automobile and later by train so that he could be with his family. All the while he was serving in the Senate, he would maintain this position.

Ashley Blazer Biden was born to Biden and his wife Jill Jacobs in 1980, making their family complete. Jill, a teacher at heart, completed her doctorate in education and is now an English professor at a Virginia community college.

Joe Biden’s eldest son and the Attorney General of Delaware, Beau Biden, lost suddenly in 2015 after a valiant battle with brain cancer. He had shown the same honesty, bravery, and tenacity throughout his life. President Biden has made curing cancer his life’s work in part because of Beau’s battle with the disease.

A Prominent Senatorial Figure

President Biden served for 36 years as a Senator from Delaware, during which time he became a national leader on a number of critical issues.

During his 16 years as either Chairman or Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Biden wrote and championed the Violence Against Women Act, a game-changing piece of legislation that increased punishments for perpetrators of violence against women, established new protections for victims of assault, and altered the national conversation about domestic and sexual violence.

For 12 years, Biden was either the Chairman or the Ranking Member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, making him a key player in determining the direction of U.S. foreign policy.

Terrorism, nuclear disarmament, the Middle East, South and Central Asia, and the abolition of apartheid were all issues and pieces of legislation he spearheaded.

President of The United States of America (Nember 47)

Vice President Biden has maintained his national leadership on critical issues and has been a strong representative of the United States abroad.

In his efforts to improve the lot of middle-class Americans, reduce gun violence, address violence against women, and eradicate cancer, Vice President Biden convened meetings of the President’s Cabinet, led interagency efforts, and collaborated with Congress.

Vice President Biden was instrumental in President Obama passing and implementing the Recovery Act, the nation’s most comprehensive and robust commitment to clean energy to date.

The President’s approach avoided a second Great Depression, rescued and generated millions of jobs, and extended the expansion of the labour force for 75 consecutive months by the end of his presidency.

And he achieved it with less than one percent in waste, misuse, or fraud, making it the most efficient government programme in American history.
